About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of the company's production units through expert mechanical maintenance.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanic plays a vital role in upholding the highest standards of mechanical integrity across all production units. This involves a proactive approach to maintenance, meticulous attention to equipment performance, and strict adherence to safety protocols to support continuous and efficient operations within the company's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits, reporting any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
Identify the tools and equipment required for maintenance, assess their readiness, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure proper disposal of maintenance waste.
Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Senior Mechanic will contribute to the operational excellence of Yamama Cement Company's facilities, ensuring robust and reliable mechanical systems.
