Senior Project Manager

About the Role

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale real estate development projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of real estate development projects, including residential, mixed-use, and commercial properties.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, encompassing design, procurement, construction, and handover phases.
• Ensure project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Develop and implement effective project execution strategies.
• Act as the client’s representative, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations throughout the project.
• Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review and monitor consultant deliverables and contractor performance.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on project planning, execution, and risk management.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across all project phases.
• Manage communication between the client, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and prepare comprehensive reports.

Commercial and Contract Management

• Oversee project budgets, cost control measures, and financial reporting.
• Review and approve variations, claims, and contractor payments.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, such as FIDIC or similar frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate potential commercial risks.

Risk and Schedule Management

• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Drive problem-solving and decision-making processes to maintain project progress.

Quality and Compliance

• Ensure adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Oversee Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes and project governance compliance.

Key Deliverables

• Successful delivery of projects within established time, budget, and quality targets.
• Effective stakeholder coordination and high client satisfaction.
• Accurate reporting, robust cost control, and proactive risk management.
• Compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within real estate development and a PMC environment.
