About the Role

NHC Innovation is seeking a Strategic Planning Sr. Expert to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for supporting strategic planning and change management initiatives. The role involves translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, assisting in business planning and KPI tracking, coordinating with stakeholders, and monitoring execution to ensure alignment, performance, and continuous improvement of strategy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Collect inputs from Strategy Management plans and translate them into Strategy Planning priorities that guide strategy formulation, health checks, and business planning activities.
Research internal capabilities, market dynamics, and future aspirations to support defining NHCI’s vision, mission, strategic objectives, and KPI framework.
Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and strategic planning frameworks to standardize strategy formulation and periodic review across NHCI.
Assist in defining change governance structures and the overarching change management framework, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making pathways.
Execute stakeholder workshops to gather inputs on strategic initiatives, KPIs, and benefits, using standardized templates and providing structured documentation support.
Perform validation of initiative cards and KPI definitions to ensure alignment, completeness, and consistency before consolidation into the strategic plan.
Support the translation of strategic objectives into actionable initiatives by assigning initiative owners and structuring execution outcomes.
Assist in developing change management plans by evaluating change readiness, timelines, required resources, and stakeholder engagement approaches.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to cascade strategic objectives into communication plans that ensure alignment and awareness across NHCI.
Execute consolidation of strategic initiatives, KPIs, and benefits into a unified strategic plan that supports execution tracking and outcome validation.
Support NHCI functions in developing annual business plans by providing guidelines, templates, and advisory support aligned with strategic priorities.
Perform validation of business plans to ensure completeness, consistency, and alignment with NHCI strategy and planning frameworks.
Define and perform operational KPI alignment activities with functions, ensuring clarity of accountability and resolving concerns through structured workshops.
Monitor and follow up on business plan execution by tracking milestones, budget utilization, and KPI performance, and identifying deviations from targets.
Recommend and support corrective actions based on performance gaps identified during monitoring of strategic and operational execution.
Coordinate with Business Planning & Performance teams to align planning cycles, validate program business plans, and ensure consistency with strategic priorities.
Implement change initiatives by tracking progress, managing resistance, and identifying improvement opportunities to ensure successful adoption.
Follow up on change initiatives to ensure sustained adoption and realization of intended benefits across NHCI.
Review and update NHCI strategy based on internal performance results and external environmental changes to maintain relevance and alignment with future aspirations.
Support communication of updated strategy to internal stakeholders to ensure clarity on direction, priorities, and next steps.
Assess and analyze performance management outputs to identify gaps in KPI achievement and benefits realization for improvement in the next planning cycle.
Assist in updating Strategy Planning frameworks, policies, and templates by incorporating lessons learned, stakeholder feedback, and best practices to improve execution maturity.
