Surgical Account Manager

About the Role

Alcon is seeking a Surgical Account Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for driving business growth, promotion, and development within designated accounts to achieve commercial objectives. The role involves establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business, promotion, and development activities in assigned accounts to meet commercial goals.
• Develop customer development strategies and dedicated Key Account Management (KAM) action plans for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with objectives and effective execution.
• Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with key customers.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
• Expand relationships with existing customers by consistently proposing solutions that address their needs and objectives.
• Lead the preparation of strategies and individual tactical plans, providing strategic input on analysis, future potential, and required key programs for accounts.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, and guide company initiatives targeting specific accounts.
• Analyze the market situation, including competitive intelligence activities on key accounts and competitors.
• Organize customer events and other programs independently or in collaboration with the marketing/medical department, in line with agreed business tactical plans.
• Contribute to stakeholder mapping, including segmentation and profiling, and provide accurate and timely data for the Alcon CRM system.
• Establish and implement a sales/business plan for a designated client base.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in account management or sales within the surgical or medical technology sector.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on surgical accounts within the region.
