About the Role

ASAS for Developing & Operating Industrial Cities is seeking a dedicated Health and Residential Inspector to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for upholding public health and safety standards across commercial establishments and residential facilities within the company's industrial cities. The role involves conducting essential field inspections to ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to perform comprehensive field inspections on commercial establishments related to public health, as well as residential complexes and buildings located within private industrial cities. The Inspector will ensure that these facilities consistently meet and apply all necessary conditions and requirements, in accordance with regulations approved by Modon and other pertinent authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the compliance of public health-related commercial establishments, complexes, and residential buildings with relevant laws, regulations, conditions, and requirements.
• Prepare and implement inspection plans.
• Conduct field visits and complete all associated administrative tasks.
• Report results from periodic visits and performance indicators on a regular basis.
• Execute awareness-raising plans for operators of commercial (public health-related) and residential establishments.
• Monitor and control health risks in commercial (public health-related) and residential establishments in accordance with approved regulations and procedures.
• Review applications for commercial and residential licenses and health certificates, ensuring adherence to approved policies and procedures.
• Respond to and investigate related complaints, working to resolve them effectively.
• Manage all documents and records pertinent to inspection tasks.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned within the scope of the department's operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of a Diploma degree in one of the following specializations:
  • Public Health
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Food Manufacturing or Food Technology
  • Food Safety
• At least one year of practical experience in the same field, with a preferred range of 2-5 years.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant health and residential systems, regulations, requirements, and conditions.

Essential Skills

• Strong time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in problem analysis, root cause investigation, and solution proposal.
• Ability to lead and work effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in computer usage and basic database programs.
• Familiarity with the English language (reading, writing, and conversation) is preferred.

Work Context and Collaboration

This position is based within the Health and Environment Management at the main center in Riyadh, specifically within the Health and Environment Department of Riyadh Second Industrial City. The Inspector will engage in regular communication and collaboration with various internal departments, including:
