As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests at the recreational facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and provide exceptional service in a luxurious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize appropriate rescue techniques for swimmers in need of assistance.
Monitor swimming areas for hazardous conditions and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Provide assistance to injured guests and promote a fun and safe atmosphere.
Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck and provide guest support.
Report accidents and unsafe conditions to management.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
License/Certification: CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Join the Jumeirah Team as a Lifeguard!
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join Jumeirah The Red Sea as a Lifeguard. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests by monitoring pool areas and responding to emergencies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Caution guests regarding unsafe areas and rescue individuals in danger while administering first aid.
Enforce swimming rules and manage guest behavior in the swimming areas.
Maintain cleanliness of the swimming pool and coordinate with the engineering team for any necessary repairs.
Patrol designated swimming areas to promote a safe environment for all guests.
Operate rides and attractions according to safety protocols.
Ensure lifesaving equipment is functional and available for use.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

A Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
A Regional or International Lifeguard Training Program License from Ellis and Associates.
1-2 years of experience as a Lifeguard in an international luxury hospitality setting.
Strong fitness level capable to respond effectively in emergencies.
