About BAE Systems Saudi Arabia

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor, operating under Government-to-Government arrangements to provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. Typhoon Capability Integration Manager Role

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Typhoon Capability Integration Manager for a full-time position in Taif. This role involves leading and coordinating the engineering integration and Entry-Into-Service (EIS) activities for Typhoon capability changes. The manager ensures that new or modified capabilities are safe, supportable, configuration-controlled, operationally ready, and capable of successful handover into the Salam support environment at KFdAB (Taif). The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate engineering integration and EIS for Typhoon capability changes, ensuring safety, supportability, configuration control, and operational readiness.
  • Liaise with senior customer, internal BAE Systems, and partner-company stakeholders on engineering, supportability, and readiness issues related to capability deployment and EIS.
  • Represent BAE Systems Saudi Arabia at customer and internal forums for change, readiness, and acceptance in support of Typhoon capability insertion and deployment.
  • Coordinate capability insertion activities with safety, engineering, and support stakeholders to maintain operational safety, risk controls, and assurance evidence throughout deployment.
  • Ensure support requirements are captured, assessed, and coordinated through engineering design and review processes to ensure new or modified capability is supportable within the Salam Support environment.
  • Lead the engineering integration and handover of approved capability changes into operational service and the in-service support environment.
  • Ensure support solution readiness and cross-functional closure of actions related to safety, supportability, training, technical information, equipment, logistics, and operational deployment.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal BAE Systems, and partner-company stakeholders to support the planning, integration, and deployment of future capability.
  • Manage end-to-end engineering integration activities for capability insertion target events, including capturing, initiating, and progressing activities through relevant processes.
  • Lead or support maturity, readiness, and candidate selection reviews for proposed capability changes, ensuring engineering and support impacts are understood.
  • Lead and coordinate engineering review and readiness assurance activities for selected capability changes.
  • Manage the Typhoon Operational Readiness Review (ORR) process for new capability deployment at KFdAB (Taif), ensuring readiness evidence coordination and action closure.
  • Identify, assess, and address supportability, safety, training, technical information, equipment, logistics, and operational impacts for each capability change.
  • Coordinate and support hazard identification, safety review, and assurance activities associated with capability insertion and Entry-Into-Service.
  • Support the preparation and review of customer change proposal documentation and associated readiness evidence.
  • Coordinate engineering support to Flight & Ground Trials, qualification, and capability acceptance activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate complex engineering integration projects.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships across customer, internal, and partner organisations.
  • Knowledge of aircraft capability insertion, deployment, and Entry-Into-Service processes.
