About the Opportunity

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking a dedicated Graduate Assistant to join the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management in Dhahran. This full-time position is open to potential Saudi candidates who are at the beginning of their professional journey, with 0-1 years of experience, and are eager to contribute to both research and teaching within the field.

Role Overview

The Graduate Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and research objectives of the department. The position involves active participation in research initiatives and teaching activities across all branches of Information Systems and Operations Management. This role offers a foundational experience in an academic setting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to commit approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Core responsibilities include:

• Carrying out teaching duties as assigned by the department.
• Conducting research within the scope of Information Systems and Operations Management.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing various administrative duties to support departmental operations.
• Undertaking any other academic duties as assigned by the academic department.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this Graduate Assistant position:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in the relevant field of Information Systems and Operations Management.
• Completion of a full-time bachelor’s degree program with very good academic grades.
• Certificate equivalency is required if the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
