About the Role

Hyatt Place Al Ula is seeking an experienced Chef De Partie (Italian) to join the team in Al Ula. This full-time role is crucial for the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla, a new property featuring 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting spaces, a swimming pool, and a fitness center, catering to both leisure and business travelers.

Role Overview

The Chef De Partie (Italian) will be responsible for the preparation of Italian cuisine, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to hotel standards. This position supports the kitchen team in daily operations and service, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present Italian dishes in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control for all Italian cuisine.
• Support the kitchen team effectively during daily operations and service periods.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of ingredients to ensure freshness and safety.
• Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the kitchen.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, with a preference for experience in Italian cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality standards in food preparation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Experience Level

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

This role is based in Al Ula and involves working in a dynamic kitchen environment as part of a new hotel opening. The position is full-time.
