About the Internship Role

Rua Al Madinah Holding is offering an internship opportunity for a Specialist Food and Safety professional in Medina. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience seeking to gain practical knowledge in ensuring food safety compliance within an organization.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all food operations adhere to established food safety regulations and company standards. This position plays a crucial part in protecting customers, employees, and the organization from potential food safety risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily practices related to food handling, storage, preparation, and serving.
• Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), hygiene standards, and relevant local regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of kitchen facilities, equipment, and supplier operations.
• Lead food safety training and awareness initiatives for operations staff.
• Manage critical processes including temperature control, sanitation, pest control, and waste management.
• Investigate food safety incidents and customer complaints, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive food safety records, checklists, and audit reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Possession of HACCP or a recognized Food Safety certification.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
• No prior professional experience is required for this internship.
• Eligibility for the Tamheer Program.
