About the Role

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent for Raffles The Red Sea, located in the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia, specifically in Umluj and Tabuk. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience seeking to enter the luxury hospitality sector.

Context of Raffles The Red Sea

Raffles The Red Sea is part of the Red Sea Project, featuring two nature-focused resorts with 361 rooms, multiple dining concepts, and a spa. The property aims to offer refined elegance and luxury, blending Raffles' service standards with the natural beauty and sustainability principles of Red Sea Global.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, personalized welcome and efficient check-in/check-out experience for guests, addressing them by name when possible.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance or tailored services in line with brand standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to provide informed guidance.
  • Record and communicate guest preferences and feedback to personalize future stays.
  • Resolve service challenges promptly and escalate issues as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate room assignments, billing, and payment processing according to hotel policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date guest profiles and reservations in the property management system.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as Housekeeping, Concierge, and Bell Desk to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and audit standards.
  • Uphold Raffles grooming, etiquette, and communication standards, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and confidentiality policies, protecting guest privacy.
  • Participate in brand training and development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in Front Office or Guest Services is required.
  • Experience within a luxury or five-star hotel environment is preferred.
  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience with hotel property management systems, such as Opera, is preferred.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills with a guest-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are highly desirable.

  • Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
