About the Barista Role

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Barista to join our team in Tabuk, specifically in the locations of Umluj and Tabuk. This full-time position is integral to our café operations, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality specialty beverages. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks and beverages with precision and consistency, utilizing espresso machines and various brewing techniques.
• Provide warm, engaging, and professional service to all guests, anticipating and addressing their needs.
• Offer informed recommendations on menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests in a helpful manner.
• Contribute to customer engagement through attractive product displays and knowledgeable recommendations.
• Manage all cash transactions, process payments using point-of-sale (POS) systems, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station and café environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including equipment setup, inventory checks, and facility preparation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during all service hours.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
• Uphold brand values and commitment to customer satisfaction in all professional interactions.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Food & Beverage and/or retail within the last 2 years.
• Proven barista experience with demonstrated expertise in specialty coffee preparation.
• Proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
• Strong cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the food and beverage or retail sectors. Demonstrated expertise as a barista, including mastery of espresso machines and brewing techniques, is essential. Strong cash handling abilities and familiarity with POS systems are required. The role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service, and the capacity to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of detail and hygiene.
