About the Role

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Specialist III to join its team in Oxagon, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for identifying and mitigating occupational health risks to ensure a safe work environment across all company operations.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Industrial Hygiene Specialist III will oversee the assessment and control of workplace hazards that may affect employee health. This includes a primary focus on chemical, biological, and psychosocial exposures, as well as managing potential epidemic risks. The role involves supporting the development of preventive strategies aligned with company health standards and regulatory requirements, and contributing to robust hygiene standards and toxic waste management systems. Collaboration with internal teams is essential for implementing effective health protection measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and continuously monitor chemical, biological, and psychosocial risks within the workplace.
• Conduct studies on potential epidemic outbreaks within the company and develop plans and procedures to mitigate their spread.
• Participate in the development of emergency preparedness and response policies related to hazardous materials, biological threats, and epidemics.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and provide recommendations based on clear standards.
• Review operational procedures to identify processes that may negatively impact health.
• Develop regulations for the disposal of toxic waste and ensure safe disposal systems are in place.
• Conduct regular and surprise inspections to monitor workplace conditions and identify health risks.
• Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly reports and statistical data on incidents and safety performance.
• Stay updated on the latest HSE standards and best practices.
• Manage documentation related to incident notifications, inspections, and work permits.

Required Experience

Candidates for this full-time position should possess 10 years of relevant experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health and safety roles.

This role is based at the NEOM Green Hydrogen Company facilities in Oxagon, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
