About the Role

Acwa is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to join its Operations team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to driving the performance, efficiency, and reliability of power and water plants. The role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to essential utilities infrastructure within a dynamic operational setting.

Role Contribution

As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the operational effectiveness of vital infrastructure. This involves working in a collaborative environment that provides exposure to innovative technologies and a range of operational challenges inherent in large-scale power and water facilities.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis

• Monitor daily operations to ensure plant performance remains within defined parameters.
• Analyze and report comprehensively on plant efficiency, availability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Troubleshoot technical issues, recommend effective improvements, and provide support for root cause analyses.

Operational Oversight and Improvement

• Oversee scheduled inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and performance audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
• Support the implementation and optimization of integrated management systems.

Team Collaboration and Compliance

The role requires active collaboration with various internal teams, including Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and Finance, to achieve optimized outcomes. A key responsibility is to ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace environment.

Experience Requirements

Candidates must possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant performance engineering role, ideally within the power and water sector or similar heavy industrial operations.
