The hotel is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and stylish interiors that reflect its coastal setting. It offers facilities such as a dedicated Kids Club and various dining concepts. This full-time role is based in Jeddah, serving the Makkah region.

Role Overview: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for engaging with local and international companies that present potential for individual and group travel to the hotel. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Director of Business Development, this role involves implementing sales activities and action plans from the hotel's marketing strategy to maximize business opportunities within the assigned area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximize upselling opportunities for hotel services and amenities.
• Develop and execute effective business development strategies to ensure sustained profitable growth across all revenue centers, including rooms.
• Maintain a high level of hotel visibility within the primary market area through direct sales, telephone, fax, and written communications.
• Implement sales policies and procedures consistent with Shangri-La Jeddah and Shangri-La Hotel and Resorts standards.
• Build positive working relationships with all hotel departments, ensuring a clear understanding of sales programs and customer expectations.
• Foster active communication and teamwork among the sales team and other marketing departments, such as Events Management, Communications, and Reservations, to achieve overall sales objectives.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and adhere to established hotel guidelines and operational standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Hotel Sales & Marketing.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic, encompassing both written and verbal communication skills.
