About the Role

Almarai, the world's largest vertically integrated dairy company and the region's largest food and beverage manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager. Headquartered in Saudi Arabia, Almarai is a market leader across the GCC and employs over 40,000 individuals. This full-time position is located in Rabigh and Jeddah.

Role Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for driving business performance through adherence to the Quality Management System. This role involves leading divisional quality functions, processes, personnel, and resources to achieve business and quality objectives. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in the Chilled Food Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site-specific quality standards to ensure employee awareness and contribution to quality objectives.
• Foster a health and safety culture within the Quality department to enhance awareness and minimize accidents.
• Manage quality investigation systems to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions, reducing non-conformances, customer complaints, wastage, and product discards.
• Oversee all laboratory functions to ensure reliable results, product integrity, and legislative compliance for poultry products, within staff and budgetary constraints.
• Develop and train staff to optimize departmental performance and flexibility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or an equivalent qualification.
• 5-10 years of experience specifically within the Chilled Food Industry.
• HACCP Certified.
• Familiarity with and adherence to standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, AIBI, and FSSC 22000.
