About the Role

Role Responsibilities

The Director of Engineering will oversee and manage all engineering operations to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the hotel's facilities. This includes maintaining all building systems, equipment, and grounds to established standards. Key responsibilities involve:

• Developing and implementing engineering strategies and operational plans.
• Managing the engineering department budget and controlling expenses.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Overseeing preventive maintenance programs for all hotel systems and equipment.
• Leading and developing the engineering team.
• Managing capital projects and renovations as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in engineering management, preferably within the hospitality industry. A strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and operational efficiency is essential. The role requires proven leadership abilities and a track record of successful project management.
