Electro Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Jotun Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves maintaining assets according to technical standards and manufacturer specifications to ensure equipment reliability. The technician will report to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance and will adhere to local, regional, segment, and Group requirements, with a particular focus on HSEQ guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks in line with established standards and procedures, ensuring quality and effectiveness. This includes utilizing and providing inputs for data updates in the Matrix Maintenance System, focusing on Preventive Maintenance actions, Standard Jobs, and spare part lists & inventory control.
• Actively participate in root cause analysis for recurring and critical breakdowns and failures.
• Troubleshoot faults independently and provide necessary support for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment.
• Support multiple shifts and conduct emergency maintenance, electrical, and mechanical repairs as required.
• Support the commissioning process for new assets based on HSEQ and engineering standards, following work permit procedures.
• Provide support in different PLC Programming languages, control networks, Industrial control systems, and reading and understanding basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
• Provide support to update all necessary maintenance records and estimations through the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should possess 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field. A strong understanding of the basics of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Industrial Electrical, and Mechanical systems is essential. This includes troubleshooting capabilities for equipment such as Pumps, Gearboxes, blowers, fans, seals, Motors, VFD’s, compressors, HVAC, and bearings.
