FINANCE SPECIALIST

About the Role

JTI is seeking a Finance Specialist to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role is central to managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls within a multinational environment. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with regional and global finance teams, supporting compliance, financial closings, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Saudi GAAP, company policies, and local tax regulations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes, including detailed balance sheet and P&L analysis.
• Coordinate with the Global Business Services (GBS) team in Poland on general ledger, intercompany transactions, and Accounts Receivable matters, resolving complex or escalated issues.
• Handle intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliations, cross-charges, and related reporting.
• Act as a primary contact for external auditors and provide support for statutory reporting and audits.
• Support internal controls and compliance activities across financial operations.
• Oversee accounts receivable and VAT-related processes, coordinating with customer service, supply chain, and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or business finance.
• Experience within a multinational company or a Big Four accounting firm is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Knowledge of Saudi Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

This role operates within a multinational company structure, requiring collaboration with various internal and external teams, including regional and global finance functions and external auditors.
