HVAC Technician

About the Role

Nestlé is seeking an HVAC Technician to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of cooling and ventilation systems across company facilities. The successful candidate will apply extensive knowledge and experience in handling, installing, and repairing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning units in offices and company residential buildings, adhering to standard installation procedures.
• Troubleshoot air conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems, and perform necessary maintenance.
• Repair air conditioner units following diagnostic activities, utilizing designated tools.
• Make recommendations to replace equipment if the expected cost to repair exceeds the possible replacement cost.
• Provide guidance, training, and direction to less experienced personnel.
• Adhere to Nestlé's Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) rules and procedures at all times during working hours to ensure personal and others' safety.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in handling, installing, and repairing HVAC equipment.
• Strong experience and technical knowledge in industrial refrigeration systems, particularly in ammonia-based refrigeration systems.
• Good knowledge in reading electrical drawings.
