About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking an ICQA Supervisor for its operations in Jeddah. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role involves overseeing inventory accuracy and quality control processes within the warehouse environment.

Role Overview

As an ICQA Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and ensuring sufficient resourcing for your function. This includes identifying training needs, managing absence and performance, and coaching your department to foster a culture of productivity and continuous improvement. You will focus on maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, quality, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities, ensuring overall safety, quality, performance, and member experience within the Inbound or Outbound FC operations.
• Set and clarify departmental requirements and expectations, fostering an environment of teamwork and open communication.
• Understand and enforce safety procedures, ensuring safe working practices and timely documentation of accidents or incidents.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and proactively address obstacles.
• Ensure company policies are communicated and consistently enforced.
• Source and develop ideas for improvement plans and ensure best practices are shared across departments and shifts.
• Collaborate with HR, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure support and resources for projects.
• Track production metrics, utilize data to develop continuous improvement strategies, and report findings to management.
• Assist in establishing long-term operational strategic plans.
• Mentor and provide training and development to optimize performance and foster individual growth.
• Recognize top performance and implement progressive discipline for underperformance.
• Propose and implement improvements in equipment and processing methods.
• Conduct daily and weekly timecard reviews to ensure pay accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including rotating shifts, working extended hours, and holidays as needed. This includes arriving at least 30 minutes early and staying 30 minutes late for pass-downs, reports, and timecard reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand or walk for up to 12-hour shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required.
• Demonstrated honesty, integrity, dedication to quality, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Positive, ambitious, energetic, hardworking attitude with a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work in a fulfillment center environment, which may be noisy, involve prolonged standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and using mechanical equipment.
• Flexibility to work varied hours based on business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah and operates on a full-time basis. The work environment is a warehouse setting that may be noisy and requires prolonged periods of standing and walking. Employees will be expected to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and using mechanical equipment as part of production activities.
