The Role of Logistics Coordinator

ALREHAB PERFUMES is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves coordinating shipments, managing shipping documentation, and overseeing import and export operations to ensure the smooth movement of goods. The Logistics Coordinator will work in coordination with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and follow up on local and international shipments, including import and export operations.
Prepare, review, and verify shipping documents such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to ensure timely shipment clearance and delivery.
Follow up on customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with applicable import and export regulations.
Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and shipment status, providing timely updates to relevant departments.
Coordinate transportation and logistics arrangements to ensure efficient movement of goods.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, logistics documents, and related transactions.
Support logistics cost monitoring and maintain effective communication with service providers.
Ensure compliance with applicable shipping requirements, Incoterms, and company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of experience in a logistics coordination role.
Demonstrated ability to manage shipping documentation and coordinate complex logistics operations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including external partners and internal departments.
