About the Officer, Accounting Role

Saudia Cargo is seeking an Officer, Accounting to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to managing the financial activities related to the company's domestic and international cargo revenue. The role ensures the precise execution of accounting processes, contributing to the overall financial integrity and operational efficiency of Saudia Cargo.

Core Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to execute accounting activities for cargo revenue, encompassing billing, revenue recognition, and adherence to both contractual and regulatory standards. The Officer, Accounting plays a vital part in supporting accurate financial reporting and ensuring the timely realization of revenue for Saudia Cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately recognize cargo revenue by validating supporting documentation and applying appropriate accounting principles.
• Ensure all documentation required to support credit sales claims is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
• Manage all billing for the related region and revenue recognition activities to ensure they are timely and aligned with monthly and quarterly financial closing timelines.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits, reviews, or submissions as required.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the document control process within the accounting function.

Cross-functional Collaboration

A significant aspect of this role involves working collaboratively across various departments.
