About the Plumber Role at Grand Hyatt

Grand Hyatt is seeking a skilled Plumber to join its Engineering Department. This full-time position requires a professional who can deliver an excellent and consistent level of service to customers and support the smooth and efficient operation of the department and other hotel operations.

Role Overview and Departmental Support

As a Plumber, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all plumbing systems are functioning correctly and to provide timely and effective service. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the infrastructure of the hotel, contributing to the overall guest experience and the operational efficiency of various departments. This role is integral to the Engineering team's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing plumbing maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel.
• Ensuring all plumbing systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Responding to service requests and resolving plumbing issues promptly.
• Assisting other operating departments with their maintenance needs as required.
• Maintaining a high standard of service delivery to all customers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management is desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Technician/Tradesman in a hotel environment.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within a large building or complex with central plant operations.

Work Type and Experience Level

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will possess between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of plumbing systems and maintenance within a hospitality or large-scale facility context.
