Pool & Recreation Attendant

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Pool & Recreation Attendant to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves encouraging guest participation in recreational activities, ensuring a fun and safe environment, and maintaining facility standards. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
• Provide information about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Enforce recreation facility rules and regulations to ensure guest and member safety.
• Monitor activity within the recreational facility and respond to emergencies according to local operating procedures.
• Identify situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in an activity and inform management.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Process payments for rental equipment, activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Operational Duties

• Follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, including answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
