About the Role

COREcruitment is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations for a growing portfolio of hotels and restaurants across Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and requires a commercially driven professional with extensive Food & Beverage purchasing experience within the Kingdom's hospitality sector.

Role Context and Strategic Impact

Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Purchasing Manager will lead all purchasing and procurement activities. This role is central to maintaining strict cost controls while sourcing high-quality food, beverage, operating supplies, and equipment across multiple units, contributing to operational excellence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all purchasing and procurement activities across the restaurant and hospitality portfolio.
• Source high-quality food, beverage, operating supplies, and equipment while maintaining strict cost controls.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiating favorable pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
• Identify new suppliers and products that support menu innovation and operational excellence.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and product availability to ensure competitive purchasing strategies.
• Ensure procurement complies with company policies, local regulations, and food safety standards.
• Work closely with Culinary, Operations, Finance, and Store Management teams to forecast purchasing requirements.
• Manage inventory levels, purchasing budgets, and stock optimization across multiple locations.
• Analyze purchasing data and produce regular reports on spend, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability throughout the procurement function.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of proven purchasing management experience within the restaurant or hospitality sector in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong Food & Beverage procurement background with an established supplier network across the Kingdom.
• Experience supporting multiple restaurant concepts or hospitality outlets.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering measurable cost savings without compromising quality.
• Excellent knowledge of inventory management, purchasing systems, and ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
