Role Overview

Carrier is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals and focuses on various sales activities and customer relationship management within the service and aftermarket business, specifically for service agreements and service repairs. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting the company's interests and establishing business relationships to enhance overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations or proposals and follow up on service sales enquiries, including service repair and maintenance contract proposals.
• Lead negotiations to achieve optimum profit levels.
• Achieve order booking in a timely manner, consistently meeting sales metrics and annual targets.
• Manage existing customers and develop new customer relationships, understanding their business status to identify opportunities and foster service revenue growth.
• Support connected service sales by providing professional proposals, offerings, and technical support related to digitalized services.
• Ensure timely payment collection.
• Acquire sales opportunities and meet financial targets.
• Prepare monthly sales forecasts based on service requirements and present them to management.
• Execute customer visit schedules.
• Interact with customers to increase sales, market share, product awareness, and educate clients.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The primary purpose of this role is to drive sales channel development and expansion for service agreements and service repair businesses. The Sales Engineer will achieve sales targets through effective business development and relationship-building strategies. This involves demonstrating strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, alongside developing a deep understanding of Carrier's products and solutions to present the most suitable options to clients.

The ideal candidate will be an established sales professional with over 10 years of experience in a relevant sales environment.
