Sales Manager

About the Role

Fast International Petrochemicals (DADCO) is seeking a Sales Manager to lead commercial growth and expand market share across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is based in Makkah, covering both Jeddah and Makkah regions, and focuses on the company's portfolio of waterproofing and thermal insulation systems, bitumen and asphalt products, geotextiles, and powder-mix building materials for the contracting, infrastructure, and mega-project sectors.

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the sales team in achieving and exceeding annual sales targets and to expand DADCO's market presence in the contracting, construction, and mega-project sectors throughout the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term annual sales strategies, including budget and forecasting plans, to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify major commercial, infrastructure, and mega-projects requiring DADCO's product range.
• Expand market presence by identifying new distribution channels, key accounts, and strategic market segments.
• Manage sales across multiple regions simultaneously, setting coverage plans, targets, and allocating resources effectively.
• Conduct regular field visits to regions, customers, and projects, coordinating with approved distributors.
• Ensure consistent pricing policies, service quality, and execution standards across all regions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including major contracting companies, general contractors, specifiers, structural consulting offices, developers, and approved distributors.
• Lead commercial negotiations, tenders, and pricing strategies, closing supply contracts for major projects.
• Lead, guide, and coach field and inside sales teams, supervising representatives to improve deal conversion rates.
• Set clear KPIs, targets, and accountability standards, monitoring performance and motivating the team.
• Collaborate with quality control and manufacturing departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Continuously study the market, monitor construction-sector trends, competitor activity, and pricing pressures.
• Follow regulatory changes, such as the Saudi Building Code and sustainability standards, and approved insulation specifications.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure compliance with credit policies and timely collection of receivables.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports to senior management covering sales performance, forecasts, and team activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the petrochemical or building materials sector.
• Extensive relationships across the contracting and infrastructure sectors, real estate developers, and consultants.
• Proven ability to manage multiple geographic regions and perform effectively under pressure from targets and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of waterproofing and thermal insulation systems, bitumen and asphalt products, geotextiles, and powder-mix building materials.
• Valid Saudi driving license is required due to frequent travel.

Work Environment and Demands

This role operates in a high-pressure environment with demanding targets, tight deadlines, and complex negotiations. The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions when deals or customer relationships are at risk is essential. The position requires managing multiple tasks simultaneously across several regions, teams, and projects, necessitating strong prioritization skills. Frequent travel between regions is a core component of the role. Candidates must be adept at discussing both technical specifications, including Saudi Building Code requirements, and commercial terms such as pricing and payment.
