About the Senior Accounting Officer Role

Almarai, a global leader in the food and beverage industry and the world's largest vertically integrated dairy company, is seeking a Senior Accounting Officer to join its finance team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and offers an opportunity to contribute to accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls within a dynamic organization. The Senior Accounting Officer will play a key role in managing core accounting functions and supporting the broader finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity and financial stability.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Execute period-end closing activities efficiently and on time.
• Assist with costing processes to support product valuation and profitability analysis.
• Conduct SAP validations to maintain data integrity and system accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide on-the-job support and guidance to other finance team members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Must possess the SOCPA (Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants) certification.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in an accounting role within a commercial organization.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the FMCG or Manufacturing sectors.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SAP is essential for this role.
