About Al Waha Industrial

Al Waha Industrial (الواحة الصناعية), a manufacturing company based in Jeddah, is expanding its operations with a new business line. This new venture focuses on the supply and servicing of machinery for food producers across Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to lead the technical aspects of this new business from initial installation onwards.

The Role

The Senior Technical Engineer – Food Processing Machinery will be responsible for the technical leadership and execution within Al Waha Industrial's new food processing machinery division. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires an engineer with 5-10 years of experience in relevant technical roles. The role involves direct interaction with customers and suppliers, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of food processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission machinery at customer sites.
Conduct preventive maintenance visits and troubleshoot breakdowns on-site.
Provide training to customers' operators and maintenance teams.
Handle technical inquiries, prepare quotations, and manage sample requests.
Review supplier offers to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Maintain accurate records, including visit reports, machine checklists, and project updates.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a technical engineering role, preferably within food processing machinery or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical operations and manage projects from installation to ongoing service.
Strong technical skills in machinery installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience in training technical and operational staff.
