About the Role: As an Accountant at Maqam Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial activities of the hotel, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage the overall budget of the hotel, including monitoring expenses and making necessary adjustments.
  • Payroll Processing: Responsible for processing payroll to ensure timely payments to hotel staff.
  • Expense Tracking: Track employee expenses through expense claims and company credit card purchases for tax and reimbursement purposes.
  • Financial Reporting: Create and present financial reports to hotel management and executives, ensuring they are informed about the financial status of the hotel.
  • Financial Audits: Conduct audits of overall hotel operations, ensuring accuracy in cash records, credit card statements, and bank accounts.

Join Our Team as a General Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant / Finance Officer to join our dynamic team at SVAX. As a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia, SVAX is committed to localizing biomanufacturing and ensuring high-quality vaccines and biologics supply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Perform account reconciliations, general ledger entries, and journal postings.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely recording and documentation of transactions.
  • Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and zakat regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience working in KSA and familiarity with local tax and zakat regulations is a plus.
  • Professional certification (SOCPA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus.
