As the OBU Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of On-Board Units (OBUs) installed in EMD freight locomotives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the availability and reliability of the OBU system.
• Deliver preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and address critical issues proactively.
• Supervise installation work and coordinate activities of subcontractors or colleagues.
• Provide technical advice to minimize delays during service incidents.
• Support and mentor customer engineers in their maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:
We value passion and attitude more than extensive experience. The following qualifications will help you succeed:

• Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in relevant fields.
• Understanding of communication ports, such as RS232, and office tools.
• Knowledge of railway equipment and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
