The Role: Senior Health, Safety & Security Advisor

Almarai is seeking a Senior Health, Safety & Security Advisor for a full-time position in Hail. This role is responsible for ensuring that the Health, Safety & Security (HSS) performance and controls at the Hail Poultry site are managed and maintained in line with Almarai's HSS policy. The advisor will also oversee HSS for Poultry sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HSS performance and controls at the Hail Poultry site.
• Ensure compliance with Almarai's HSS policy across all relevant operations.
• Oversee Health, Safety & Security aspects for Poultry sales.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to and manage various incidents, including fire, explosion, chemical spills, and incidents resulting in casualties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Systems Science or a related field.
• NEBOSH Certificate or Post Graduate Certificate in Health, Safety/Security, or similar technical membership (Tech SP) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), or Graduate Member of IOSH (GRADIOSH), or OSHA certification.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an HSS Manager within an organization.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HSS Manager in a Poultry Factory.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in risk and fire prevention.
• Excellent technical knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of international codes and standards related to security and access systems, including NFPA, FPA, and LPC for fire prevention.
• Trained in incident command.
• Proficiency in ISO 45001 standards.
