Role Overview

The Senior Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing a self-directing, multi-functional team. The primary objective is to ensure the efficient intake of birds and the processing of poultry products to meet internal customer requirements. This will be achieved through strict adherence to defined product specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols within established management performance parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-functional team to ensure efficient poultry processing operations.
• Ensure adherence to defined product specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Meet internal customer requirements within established performance parameters.
• Propose plant modifications and process optimizations to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Foster a cooperative working relationship with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
• Develop a team environment to boost employee output.
• Train team members for required jobs and develop a multicultural workforce.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Sciences, or Poultry Disciplines.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in an ISO/HACCP-accredited rendering plant, supplying EU-categorized product.
• Knowledge of Meat Processing Plant & Packaging (Meat Rendering).
• Operational knowledge and skills in food safety systems and audits.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Required Competencies

• Knowledge of the implementation of international quality standards.
• Ability to manage a multinational and multifunctional workforce.
• Capability to work in coordination with a multicultural workforce.
