Key Responsibilities:

• Support and improve the KONE safety management system for workers, users, and third parties.
• Encourage a culture of safety and serve as a model of safety practices.
• Manage safety documentation and participate in safety committees.
• Provide professional advice and support on safety matters.
• Implement projects to enhance safety across operations.
• Monitor safety risk management processes and support change management initiatives.
• Collect and report on safety data and assist in safety audits and investigations.
• Develop and promote safety competencies within the workforce.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in safety within elevators, construction, or related fields.
• NEBOSH and IOSH certificates are required.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Safety Officer to join our team. The role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the company’s Safety Program while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the company’s Safety Program.
• Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company standards.
• Support implementation of safety management systems.
• Conduct regular risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure proper control measures are in place.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and internal audits.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
• Develop and deliver safety induction and refresher training programs.
• Promote a proactive safety culture within the organization.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or administrative support.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Communication skills in English - both writing and speech.
