About United Members Company (UMC) and the Role

United Members Company (UMC) is a prominent Saudi firm specializing in operational strategies and business development. The company supports its affiliated entities by providing optimal operational management solutions and extends its services to entrepreneurs through tailored consultancy. UMC is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and plays a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the company's operational objectives.

The Accountant's Contribution

The Accountant will be responsible for a comprehensive range of daily accounting activities, ensuring precise financial record-keeping and compliance with established standards. This role directly supports the Chief Accountant and Finance Manager in delivering practical, results-oriented solutions that enhance performance and growth across the diverse industries served by UMC.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly account reconciliations.
Monitor petty cash and employee advances.
Record expenses and purchase transactions.
Issue sales invoices.
Participate in month-end closing activities.
Monitor and maintain fixed asset records.
Review supporting documents and maintain proper documentation and filing.
Prepare audit working papers and support external/internal audits.
Follow up on tax and ZATCA compliance requirements.
Perform daily accounting activities.
Support the Chief Accountant with operational accounting tasks.
Carry out any other duties assigned by the Chief Accountant or Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting.
Demonstrated experience within the Construction, Operations & Maintenance industry.
