About the Role

Prolific is seeking fluent Arabic speakers with knowledge of Saudi Arabian dialects to participate in AI training as evaluators. This contract role is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with a pay rate of $20-26 per hour. The objective is to ensure AI models accurately understand the nuances of the Arabic language, particularly its spoken forms.

Role Overview

AI models are being developed to communicate with human-like subtlety. As an evaluator, you will contribute to this development by assessing how naturally and authentically AI captures Arabic speech. This involves completing side-by-side evaluations of text and voice snippets, listening to audio clips, and identifying the naturalness of AI-generated voices. Your detailed feedback will directly impact the AI's comprehension of human language.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct side-by-side evaluations of text and voice snippets to assess AI output quality and authenticity.
• Rate the naturalness of AI-generated voices by listening to audio clips.
• Identify instances where AI tone or pronunciation appears unnatural or culturally mismatched.
• Review AI-generated content for contextual accuracy, ensuring intonation aligns with cultural context.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Arabic Language Fluency: A strong command of natural, everyday Arabic is essential.

Work Details
