The Opportunity: Commis 3 - Kitchen

Jumeirah Jabal Omar is seeking a Commis 3 - Kitchen to join its team. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in the culinary field.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings.
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat as applicable.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of cutting, seasoning, and marinating different meats.
• Prepare dishes such as salads and sauces with attention to detail and presentation.
• Apply proficient knowledge of established recipes and plating guides to exact specifications.
• Ensure proper stocking of food items in refrigerators and freezers.
• Document inventory of kitchen supplies and notify supervisors of low stock situations.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow established recipes and plating instructions.
• Understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene standards.
