About the Role: Head of Arranging Investment Management

Rawaj-HCM is seeking a Head of Arranging Investment Management to join its team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, with operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role is within an investment firm specializing in investment management and Shariah-compliant financing solutions.

Role Overview and Contribution

As the Head of Arranging, you will lead transaction origination, structuring, and execution activities across a diverse portfolio of Shariah-compliant financing solutions. This involves close collaboration with executive leadership to originate mandates, structure complex transactions, and engage with investors and Shariah advisors. The role ensures efficient transaction execution while upholding high standards of governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the origination and qualification of Islamic capital market transactions, including Sukuk, RECCs, and other structured financing solutions across targeted sectors.
  • Drive end-to-end transaction structuring, encompassing financial modeling, cash flow analysis, credit assessment, Shariah review, and commercial negotiations.
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors, Shariah scholars, and other professional advisors throughout the documentation and transaction closing process.
  • Lead investor syndication activities, prepare investment opportunities, and participate in roadshows and institutional investor presentations.
  • Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, financial due diligence, sponsor assessments, and risk evaluations for prospective transactions.
  • Prepare and present investment recommendations, credit memoranda, and transaction proposals to senior management and investment committees.
  • Monitor post-closing transaction performance, covenant compliance, and emerging credit risks, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Build, mentor, and develop the arranging team, ensuring effective workload distribution and continuous capability development.
  • Develop standardized transaction processes, documentation standards, financial models, and internal risk frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, investors, financial institutions, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders within the capital markets ecosystem.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in originating, structuring, and successfully closing financing transactions.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with primary work locations in Jeddah and Makkah.
