Internal Medicine Nurse

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves providing comprehensive nursing care within clinics or the emergency department, adhering to established standards of practice and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as assigned, following established policies and evidence-based practices.
• Document all relevant information accurately, appropriately, and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the clinic is prepared for effective use by physicians, including consumable material stock levels and medical equipment.
• Complete nursing assessments and document medical history from patients.
• Adhere to Medicines Management policies for the safe keeping and administration of medication.

Accountabilities

• Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Report equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reductions in supply inventory to the nurse supervisor.
• Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
• Cooperate and work effectively with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
• Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture.
• Contribute to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in self-education, training, and development as applicable.
• Contribute to the achievement of cost efficiency savings on the unit.
• Maintain awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Environment

This role is primarily an indoor position (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Working hours are 8 net hours per day, according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
