About the Role

SSC HR Solutions is seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role is critical for enhancing operational efficiency, supply chain visibility, cost control, and service reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all end-to-end logistics and supply chain functions, including warehousing, transportation, distribution, inventory management, and import/export activities.
  • Plan and direct inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials, finished goods, and inventory.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve overall supply chain performance and responsiveness.
  • Lead warehouse operations, focusing on receiving, storage, dispatch, and stock control to improve inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Manage transportation planning, route optimization, and delivery execution, aiming to improve fleet utilization and on-time delivery performance.
  • Oversee import/export activities, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external logistics providers, evaluating their performance against key metrics.
  • Monitor and control logistics, warehousing, and transportation costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process controls for all logistics functions.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives, including ERP systems and inventory tracking tools.
  • Prepare performance reports and dashboards covering key logistics KPIs and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop logistics, warehouse, and supply chain teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, including Production, Procurement, Sales, and Finance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, with a strong focus on manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or team management capacity.
  • Proven experience managing warehousing, inventory control, transportation, and distribution operations.
  • Solid understanding of import/export processes, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
  • Experience in the Saudi Arabia or GCC markets is preferred.

Technical and Leadership Skills

  • Proficiency in Supply Chain Management principles, Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, and Transportation Planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor operational KPIs and manage costs effectively.
  • Capability to develop and implement SOPs and process improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Certifications and Language

  • Relevant certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, CILT, or Six Sigma are considered an advantage.
  • Fluent English communication skills are required.
  • Arabic language skills are preferred.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah.
