About the Marketing Team Leader Role

Hummus Refi, a growing restaurant brand, is seeking a Marketing Team Leader to drive its marketing initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for the food and beverage industry, capable of developing and executing marketing plans from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will be adept at setting goals, measuring performance, and creating content that builds brand recognition.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Developing the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, including sales, awareness, and loyalty.
  • Translating the strategy into a detailed execution plan, outlining tasks, timelines, budgets, and individual team member responsibilities.
  • Establishing objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all marketing channels and campaigns, and monitoring them regularly.
  • Analyzing marketing data to inform decisions and adjusting plans as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Leading, mentoring, and training the marketing team, focusing on professional skill development.
  • Overseeing social media content strategy and execution across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and X.
  • Managing paid advertising campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and Google, with a focus on Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Coordinating with delivery platforms including HungerStation, Jahez, and Keeta to enhance visibility and sales.
  • Preparing and presenting regular performance reports to management, including clear recommendations.
  • Managing relationships with external partners such as photographers, content creators, and production agencies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 4–6 years of marketing experience, with a preference for experience in the restaurant or retail sectors.
  • A comprehensive understanding of marketing strategy and the ability to translate it into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting and tracking KPIs/OKRs and analyzing performance results.
  • Hands-on experience managing digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
  • A proven ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools including Meta Business, Google Analytics, and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • A strong creative sense and an eye for visual content.
  • Excellent multitasking capabilities, managing multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Fluency in Arabic; a good command of English is considered an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Role Context and Location

This is a full-time position. The role is based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The marketing team currently consists of two recent graduates, who will be under the direct leadership of the Marketing Team Leader.
