About the Merchandiser Role at PepsiCo

PepsiCo is seeking a Merchandiser to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maximizing the on-shelf presence of PepsiCo products within assigned retail outlets. PepsiCo's global reach includes over one billion consumer interactions daily across more than 200 countries and territories, driven by a diverse portfolio of beverages and convenient foods.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

The primary objective of the Merchandiser is to ensure optimal on-shelf availability and presentation of PepsiCo products across all designated outlets. This involves adhering strictly to planograms for both on- and off-shelf displays. The role also includes conducting in-store sampling sessions and promotions when required. Any deviations from agreed-upon arrangements must be promptly reported to the pre-seller. Furthermore, the Merchandiser is responsible for gathering and supplying the pre-seller with current market information to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.

• Call on specific outlets as per the daily journey plan provided by the supervisor.
• Merchandise products within assigned stores across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) materials where applicable, adjacent to product displays.
• Ensure all access points are merchandised according to approved planograms.
• Implement product rotation using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and remove substandard products.
• Maintain clean and fresh stock of products on the shelf at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities within the market.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets.
• Submit daily reports on prior day's activities to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling or redemption campaigns as needed.
• Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional behavior in line with the company's code of conduct.

• Journey plan adherence
