About the Role

Elaf Group is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue and develop business opportunities for its hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on key segments including Hajj, Umrah, corporate, government, groups, travel trade, and local Saudi business. The position requires a commercially driven Saudi sales professional with strong knowledge of the Makkah hospitality market and established relationships within the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel’s sales plan in line with annual revenue and occupancy targets.
• Proactively identify and secure new business across Hajj, Umrah, corporate, government, groups, travel agencies, and DMCs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key Saudi companies, government entities, Hajj and Umrah operators, and travel agencies.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and account reviews.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up and conversion of opportunities.
• Negotiate corporate, group, and wholesale agreements within approved commercial guidelines.
• Identify new market opportunities and continuously expand the hotel’s account base.
• Support the commercial strategy for Ramadan, Hajj, and other high-demand religious periods.
• Manage assigned key accounts and develop account plans to increase production.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, market activity, and new hotel developments.
• Achieve agreed individual and hotel sales targets.

Performance Indicators

Performance will be measured against specific metrics, including revenue generated from assigned accounts and segments, achievement of monthly and annual sales targets, new accounts acquired and activated, and Hajj, Umrah, and group business secured. Other indicators include the conversion ratio of qualified leads, growth of existing key accounts, sales call and client engagement productivity, and the accuracy of sales pipeline and CRM reporting.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Saudi sales professional with 2-5 years of experience, active in the market rather than office-based. This role requires the ability to develop relationships, open new accounts, and convert opportunities into measurable revenue. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the unique commercial dynamics of Makkah, including the importance of Ramadan, Hajj, Umrah, and religious group business, while also developing sustainable year-round demand from corporate, government, and travel-trade accounts.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality sector in Makkah.
• Demonstrated ability to actively generate new business and maintain key existing accounts.
• Strong knowledge of the Makkah hospitality market.
• Established relationships within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working closely with Commercial, Revenue, Reservations, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure effective conversion and delivery of commercial opportunities.
