Supply Chain Group Director

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Supply Chain Group Director to provide strategic leadership and direction for all supply chain functions across its entities. This full-time role is based in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah, and requires over 10 years of experience. The Director will ensure group-wide alignment of supply chain strategies, promote standardization and best practices, and drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and integrate all supply chain functions, including procurement, planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management, across Fakeeh Care Group. The Group Director fosters collaboration between entity teams and ensures the effective delivery of high-quality, reliable, and sustainable supply chain services to support the Group’s clinical and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement group-wide supply chain strategies aligned with Fakeeh Care’s mission, vision, and corporate objectives.
• Ensure integration and alignment of procurement, warehousing, logistics, and planning functions across all entities.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier consolidation, and long-term value creation.
• Establish group-wide policies, standards, and performance frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Oversee supply chain operations across all entities to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and corporate requirements (MOH, SFDA, CBAHI, JCIA).
• Monitor performance metrics and compliance audits across procurement, inventory, and logistics activities.
• Ensure proper governance structures for contract management, vendor selection, and ethical procurement practices.
• Coordinate with entity leadership to resolve complex operational or compliance-related issues.
• Develop and monitor group-level KPIs to track performance, cost efficiency, and service quality.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across all supply chain functions.
• Optimize cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory turnover, and procurement lead time through best practices and digital transformation.
• Lead initiatives to enhance system integration, automation, and reporting capabilities across entities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to entity supply chain directors and managers.
• Build strong cross-entity collaboration and knowledge-sharing frameworks.
• Promote succession planning, professional development, and skills enhancement for supply chain staff.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and service excellence across all supply chain teams.
• Collaborate with corporate and entity leaders (Finance, HR, Quality, Operations) to align supply chain priorities with Fakeeh Care Group goals.
• Prepare and present performance reports, risk assessments, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
• Represent the Supply Chain Group in executive meetings, committees, and corporate initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Demonstrated strategic leadership capabilities in a complex organizational setting.
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a dynamic healthcare group, collaborating with various corporate and entity leaders to achieve strategic objectives.
