The Role of Workshop Purchaser

Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking a Workshop Purchaser to join its team in Makkah, with operations covering Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is responsible for researching, coordinating, and purchasing high-quality spare parts for vehicles, ensuring timely supply and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and review data to identify optimal products and supplies, ensuring timely actions to prevent delays in goods clearance and safe delivery to workshops.
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding new products and product availability.
• Ensure a continuous supply of parts by identifying alternate vendors or suppliers to address potential shortages and stock outages.
• Negotiate terms for supplies and spare parts through meetings and conferences with vendors and suppliers to build relationships and secure consistent stock.
• Develop strong relationships with non-Toyota spare parts suppliers to source materials at competitive prices.
• Inform the department of expected stock deliveries by submitting stock reports and delivery receipts.
• Provide annual reports for management review and analysis, contributing to the formulation of annual purchasing plans.
• Conduct price surveys and data analysis to identify the best suppliers, forwarding this information with recommendations to the appropriate purchasing agent for vendor evaluation.
• Manage and maintain an up-to-date filing system for pricing and vendor information to ensure immediate and accurate access.
