About Majd Yanbu Industrial Company

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is a joint venture formed by Elsewedy Cables and Alfanar Electrical Systems. The company is currently establishing a state-of-the-art copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. This facility is designed for a significant production capacity of 120,000 metric tons per year, representing a key development in the region's industrial sector.

The Mechanical Engineer Role

As Majd Yanbu Industrial Company approaches commercial production, we are building a high-caliber engineering team. We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our operations in Yanbu, Al Madinah region. This full-time role is integral to driving operational excellence from the initial stages of production and supporting the advanced manufacturing processes of our copper rod facility.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, review, and maintain mechanical systems, including piping, pumps, compressors, HVAC, and utility equipment across the plant.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and startup phases of mechanical equipment for the copper rod production line.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all rotating and static equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors during the construction and equipment commissioning phases.
• Ensure strict compliance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or other relevant industrial mechanical standards.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, maintenance logs, and essential engineering documentation.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Mechanical Engineer position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This role is suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to contribute to a significant industrial project.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Yanbu Industrial City, within the Al Madinah region of Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to support the facility's operations and development.
