The property includes 203 rooms and suites, 17 luxury serviced apartments, and 116 privately owned Burj Assila Residences. The Role of Laundry Runner

Shangri-La Hotel is seeking a Laundry Runner to join its team in a full-time capacity. This role, also known as a Service Associate, is responsible for managing all linen, uniform, and guest laundry operations. The position requires familiarity with laundry equipment and involves working within the linen room. Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Handle all linen, uniform, and guest laundry.
Manage operations within the linen room.
Prepare daily production forms.
Check the work area for routine preparations.
Inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Clean and tidy the work area before the end of the shift.
Shut down steam pipes (where applicable), switches, and the main panel during the last shift.
Hand over dirty uniforms to the Linen Room.

Candidate Requirements

Report for duty in full, smart, clean, and well-groomed attire.
Sign in when reporting on duty and sign out when reporting off duty.
Demonstrate environmental responsibility by reducing waste, recycling when possible, and reusing whenever applicable.
Possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.
