KBR, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technical Professional Telecommunication to join their team in the Eastern region. This full-time position involves leading the design and specification of critical communication systems, applying advanced engineering techniques, and providing expert guidance within the organization.

Role Overview

The Principal Technical Professional Telecommunication is responsible for the comprehensive design, specification, and service delivery related to various communication systems. This includes satellite, line-of-sight, fiber optic, and public address systems, as well as the transmission of data from supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently apply advanced engineering techniques to complex problems.
• Make informed decisions regarding engineering problems and methodologies.
• Represent the organization in conferences to resolve important technical questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials from other organizations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Serve as a primary consultant for associates, with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.
• Manage a measurable asset, such as an assigned staff and budget.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in telecommunication engineering.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region. The role involves working within a professional engineering environment, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
