About the Role

EHIF is seeking a TPE V / Process Safety / Major Hazards SME to serve as the Technical Authority. This full-time role involves leading technical assurance across a diverse portfolio of energy, oil & gas, mining, industrial, and infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to lead technical assurance for process safety and major accident hazard management. The successful candidate will be a recognized industry expert with a proven track record in solving complex engineering challenges and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects.
Lead technical reviews during Concept, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detailed Design phases.
Perform independent design assurance and peer reviews.
Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide specialist guidance.
Support proposals, client workshops, and business development initiatives.
Mentor young engineers and contribute to the technical capability development of the THSE team.
Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer status is preferred.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
Proven experience in a leadership technical role such as Technical Authority, Chief Engineer, Principal Consultant, Engineering Fellow, or equivalent.

Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to influence clients, mentor engineering teams, and drive technical excellence across major international projects. The role requires expertise in solving complex engineering challenges within process safety and major accident hazard management.
